Well where do i start, last i updated on my blog was couple of months back. Probably you wondering where did this guy disappear off too. A lot has happened in the past few months, I had to play father duties to my new born son whom is about 6 months old now. Its not easy playing daddy thou, takes a lot of courage. Speaking of my Career:
Heads Models and Glamasphere both didn't fulfill my taste buds, the deals were a bit sour. So i did some introspection and I realized what i need is not an Agency to take of my journey to glamor, I need to take myself there, I need to manage myself. So I have been doing so in the past few months.
I ended up participating in the African Guess Jeans Competition conducted by Base Models in Cape Town. Well they scouted me on the previous Men's Health Competition in which i ended up with a minimum of 500 votes, but was not good enough to make me win. So Guess Jeans supplied us with assignments that were extremely exciting and good for the portfolio. So you probably wondering what now? Guess what I dropped out, probably the most selfish decision I ever made. Why did i drop out? Well let me tell you simply because my head was not in it. After my second shoot of the Guess Jeans assignments, which was the "partnership" female and a male counterpart both half naked wearing jeans shooting a seductive jean shoot, I was criticized of my shoot and they were right. Being told that there was no connection between me and the girl, I cant blame the girl for being amateur I blame myself for not taking full control. So I was given a second chance, that's when i declined the offer because i already screwed up my chances. I had one month left out of 6 that was given, to do an Artistic nude, fashion, underwear and fragrance shoot. I had wasted too much time and my preparation was not on point.......
This was simply not my year of success but i plan to rise next year 2013
So for now I'll be traveling to Australia in December to meet up with some magazine editors. Wish me Best of Luck.
